API Integration Engineer

Purpose

PY Engineers (Level 1 – Junior to Level 3 – Solutions Architect) are responsible for technical integration and deployment of PatPat360 and HOW4 products. The deployment involves technical discovery, integration design, user acceptance testing.

They are also responsible for identifying new feature requirements specific to the product and highlight risks related to an implementation project. Moreover, they also lead technical integration details for product certification and collaborate with core-engineering (development) teams in feature design.

Key Responsibilities

Configuration and managing PY applications for clients Troubleshooting and investigating production issues.
Assisting support team to better monitor production.
After training, explain technical solutions to the client, if needed.
Execute UAT with clients and perform production cut-over activities
Must be flexible to travel.

The ideal candidate will have

2+ years’ experience in .NET & API Integration.
Good work ethics, be energetic and responsible to learn quickly.
Excellent English communication skills.
Technical background of software development, QA or managing software application for 1-2 years or more.
MSQL/MySQL experience – good background with relational databases.

Education & Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Engineering discipline.

Node.js Software Engineer

Purpose

Design, develop, and enhance the various PY software components & services using Node.js on Linux.
The candidates will be expected to design, develop, enhance, and maintain a scalable and high-performance Microservices-based Software System designed for high load using Node.js on Linux.

The ideal candidate will have

3-4 years (or more) of professional experience in Node.js software development.
Demonstrable experience in Node.js, Express.js, Nest.js, ES6 Typescript, and TypeORM.
Experience with C# and C++ is a plus.
Experience with RESTful APIs, and API Integration.
Experience in developing Software Applications in a Linux environment.
A deep understanding of common data structures and algorithms.
Test-driven Development experience, and experience with Unit-Testing Frameworks like Jest and Mocha.
Experience with at least one RDBMS (PostgreSQL, MSSQL and MySQL).
Hands-on experience with Docker and a containerized development workflow
Experience with APIs for file transfer (SCP, SFTP, etc).
The ability to quickly comprehend complex business processes and existing systems’ architecture, and propose efficient solutions to tough problems.
An aptitude for debugging, mathematics, problem solving and mastering new languages, APIs, and Tools in a short time span.
Outstanding written and spoken English communication skills.
The ability to recognize & differentiate between barely working, hacked-together Code and Clean, high-quality code, and the talent to produce the latter.
